Zion National Park
Zion National Park is located in Southwest Utah, close to the city of Springdale. The park was established on November 19, 1919. What it Has to Offer Zion has great hiking trails for quick day trips in and around the canyon area. If you are a little more experienced the park also offers trails for overnight backpacking and hiking. A permit is needed , but it is worth the process. Zion National Park is great for climbing as well. The 2000 foot cliffs of the canyons make it a great area for all kinds of climbs. It has over 300 routes which range from bouldering to ice climbing in the right time of the year. The Virgin River lets visitors experience activities like Kayaking or River tubing. In some areas you can even hike through the river, which is a great time. Horses are a unique and cool way to adventure through the park.
